This kettle is perfectly fine, it boils quickly and is not too noisy when doing so. It’s not overly heavy and has a simple, effective design. The lid can be a little stiff to remove though. Whether you buy it depends on whether you want to pay a premium for the Emma Bridgewater branding. I don’t think the silver band around the bottom fits the design that well personally. I’m more about substance than style usually and for me paying two to three times the price of another kettle with similar performance is poor value for money.

I ordered this kettle because it was cheaper than a similar one I was looking at that was almost double the price. However, after boiling it a couple of times like I would with any new kettle it was fine. I love this kettle.
I’ve never really bothered that much about kettles in the past. Even when I changed my kitchen I kept my existing kettle and toaster because they were working fine.
In the past when my kettle has stopped working I’ve gone down to Costco and bought whichever one they had in at the time. And it’s always been stainless steel.

Anyway, my existing kettle stopped working a couple of times. My husband fixed it but I figured it was time for a new one. I decided to look on Amazon before going to Costco. I noticed this, it stood out straight away and so I ordered it.

It’s a fabulous kettle. It works just as well as all my previous (more expensive) ones but it looks so much better.
It’s the same capacity as all my previous ones so nothing is different there. The lid is easy to take off and so I use that and not the spout to fill.

It’s a fast boil and quiet with a white lead as you’d expect with a white kettle.

Our Tested Review For Cuisinart Style Collection Multi-Temp Jug Kettle

I feel I’m in quite a unique position to review this as I’ve recently taken delivery of our second one of these kettles. The first lasted for years and was a really good kettle – it broke due to natural wear and tear. We decided to repeat the purchase and replace the broken one with a new one.

The good: The boiling on these kettles is really speedy. Even when filled to the max 1.7 liters. The lining on the unit does a good job in insulating the water, so the internal temperature remains high for a while after use. The multi-temperature settings are very useful (though I’d like to see 75c and 80c added to the kettle in a future version).

The bad: I’ve seen some reviews of this kettle that state the lid mechanism is a point of concern. We’ve been using the new kettle for a couple of months now. So far so good. But it does feel far flimsier than our old kettle did. In a very well-constructed kettle, the lid feels somehow out of place – as though the manufacturer that’s somewhere they’ve tried to cut costs.

Hopefully, the lid won’t cause any problems long term, and overall this is a good kettle – but I feel it only fair to tell you about my lid experience.

I bought this kettle in 2019, I liked its color scheme (black and silver), its size, that it is cordless and that it’s a Bosch and I thought that it would be reliable. I am reporting in 2020 that it’s still going strong, and working well. Occasionally I use the temperature settings but not that often (say once a month). I’m a very happy customer and would recommend it.

I’m not referring to a popular beat combo m’lud but to kettle users who are both Deaf and lefthanded – the Haden Boston is beautifully designed except for the fact that the indicator light is on just one side and invisible to those who lift the kettle with the left hand. So deaf left-handers have no way of knowing when the kettle has boiled. (The Russell Hobbs pyramid kettle this is replacing has a large blue light on the back, for reference.)

On the plus side, the reports from other customers on its noisy boiling are less relevant for 50% of this household…
